Description
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is formulated with “micelles,” which are tiny, spherical cleansing molecules suspended in soft water. These micelles work like magnets, attracting and lifting away dirt, oil, makeup (even waterproof formulas), and impurities from the skin without the need for harsh rubbing or rinsing.
Key features and benefits:
- All-in-One Cleansing: It cleanses, removes makeup, and refreshes the skin in a single step.
- Gentle Formula: It’s known for its gentle nature, often free from alcohol, fragrance, parabens, sulfates, and silicones, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
- No-Rinse Formula: One of its most convenient aspects is that it doesn’t require rinsing with water after use, making it ideal for quick cleansing, travel, or post-workout refreshment.
- Hydrating: Many formulations offer 12-hour hydration, preventing the skin from feeling dry or stripped after cleansing.
- Removes Invisible Dirt: Beyond visible makeup and dirt, it effectively removes invisible impurities like sunscreen residue and pollution.
- Suitable for All Skin Types: Garnier offers various versions tailored to different skin concerns, such as:
- Original/Sensitive: For all skin types, especially sensitive.
- Waterproof Makeup Remover: A bi-phase formula (often with oil) for stubborn waterproof and long-wear makeup.
- Purifying with Salicylic Acid: For oily and acne-prone skin, helps mattify and minimize pores.
- With Vitamin C: For dull skin, aiming to brighten and add a glow.
- With Hyaluronic Acid + Aloe: For dry skin, to replump and hydrate.
How to Use
- Pour: Dispense a few drops of the micellar water onto a cotton pad (or a reusable eco-pad).
- Press: Gently press the saturated cotton pad onto the area you want to cleanse (face, eyes, or lips) and hold for a few seconds, especially for makeup removal.
- Swipe: Gently swipe the cotton pad across your skin to lift away makeup, dirt, and impurities. Repeat with fresh cotton pads until your skin is completely clean and no residue remains.
- Double Cleansing: While it can be used on its own, some people prefer to use it as the first step in a double cleansing routine, followed by a traditional face wash, especially if they wear heavy makeup or have oily skin.
- Eye Makeup: For eye makeup, hold the saturated pad over closed eyes for a few seconds before gently wiping, without harsh rubbing.
